Lo Locate an Address

Locate an Address geocodes an address and displays the address’s location on the map.

Follow the steps below to locate a Municipality.

1. Select the Tasks tab on the left side of the screen. 

2. Click on Locate on Map to display menu if necessary.

3. Click on Address button.

4. The Locate Address dialog box will be displayed. Enter an address in the dialog box. A street value must be entered with either a city or a zip code.

5. Click the button.

6. The address candidates will be displayed in the lower right of the application.  More than one address can appear in the grid.

7. Pan to each geocode by clicking it in the address candidate results list. The address will be marked with a and the address will be displayed.

8. The Clear Selection tool  can be used to clear buffer results.
