These areas are currently considered susceptible to mine subsidence. Additionally, the layer includes locations beneath mined outcrops that may be vulnerable to mine water outbreaks.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Mining activity in these areas has been confirmed through a mine map depicting underground workings, a reference source indicating the area was mined, or a subsidence investigation determining the area was mined.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>The Department recommends Mine Subsidence Insurance coverage for any structures located within these areas, provided the structure meets other program requirements.
